About the conference

The Conference China-US Group Theory Summit 2024 will be held at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, starting in the morning of Friday, Feb 23, 2024 and ending in the early afternoon on Sunday, Feb 25, 2024.

The conference is supported by NSF grant #2317056.

The conference will provide group theory researchers in China and USA a forum to disseminate their own research as well as to learn about new and significant results in the area, which will lead to a 2-way transfer of knowledge. The conference will bridge the gap between those two communities, and lead to future cooperation and collaborations. It is expected that it will have great impacts on the math research communities in both countries. The organizers will continue effort to attract a demographically diverse participant base including women and racial and ethnic minorities.
